Chronic victimhood and hypocrisy are subtle expressions of an antisocial personality (on the psychopathy spectrum).

Greed, avarice, and badmouthing others—when manifested chronically—are examples of behaviors indicating more serious character flaws.

Victimhood and hypocrisy are two other examples—albeit more subtle ones—of such flaws; the former consists of exaggerating one's own situation and portraying oneself as a victim when one does not actually qualify as such, or even when one is in a virtually opposite position. This is because the intent behind playing the victim is not to resolve a victimization—which does not exist—but rather to garner privileges based on that alleged status. A case in point is the Black anti-racist activist who views himself as a perpetual victim of "structural racism," acting as though every limitation he faces—including those stemming from his own actions—is the fault of "evil white people" and that, in the name of justice, he deserves reparations or privileges.

Hypocrisy, meanwhile, essentially involves preaching or positioning oneself visibly as morally superior, while acting in a manner that is—to varying degrees—the exact opposite in daily life. Take the anti-capitalist who loves money and enjoys what it "offers"—rather than seeking consistency between their words and their personal life, or at least being more generous toward others, for instance...

Consequently, due to the massive, suspicious, and orchestrated rise of identity-based leftism within corridors of power, there has been an institutionalized normalization of these two subtle yet characteristic forms of moral dishonesty—the maudlin kind that cloaks itself in beautiful or impassioned rhetoric about justice, empathy, and love, while concealing ulterior motives and intentions...
