 Sobre o ''paradoxo temporal'' mais famoso do cinema

Parece que tem gente achando que só existe uma possibilidade de paradoxo temporal e com base no filme "De Volta para o Futuro", em que a mudança de um evento em um cenário hipotético de viagem no passado e com protagonismo errático do viajante pode desencadear mudanças em outros eventos, alterando o futuro. 

Pode ser e pode ser que não. 

Tal como no caso do paradoxo temporal mais famoso do cinema, do primeiro filme da franquia "O Exterminador do Futuro", em que Kyle Reese volta ao passado, identifica, protege e até engravida Sarah Connor, antes de morrer e deixar como legado nada mais nada menos que John Connor, o líder dos rebeldes humanos contra as máquinas que, em um futuro distópico, dominam o mundo. Pois uma explicação para essa mudança tão significativa de sequência de eventos é que Kyle não era uma personagem central na história do futuro e, então, seu "sacrifício" não gerou grande repercussão mais tarde. Outro paradoxo sem explicação é que, sem a vinda do Kyle e do primeiro exterminador, como é que a Sarah teria compreendido o que estava para acontecer e preparado o filho para o pior?? Ou, então, ela teria tido ele e levado uma vida normal até o apocalipse nuclear, causado pelo "despertar" das máquinas, em que ele teria sobrevivido (ela teria morrido de câncer antes), e o John já apresentar qualidades de liderança, resiliência e coragem sem precisar ter passado por perseguições de exterminadores. Aliás, a existência da foto da Sarah que o Kyle levava não faz sentido nenhum, já que foi tirada logo depois da morte do Kyle, que o seu filho teria guardado e dado ao Kyle em um futuro "anterior" à sua vinda. Sei lá, essa história é muito boa, mas está parecendo mais uma confusão temporal do que paradoxo. A única salvação para isso seria se tivessem tirado a mesma foto dela, talvez no mesmo lugar, ou parecido, mas em um contexto completamente diferente, sem saber o que iria acontecer e grávida de outro homem, claro...

It seems that there are people thinking that there is only one possibility of temporal paradox and based on the film "Back to the Future", in which the change of an event in a hypothetical travel scenario in the past and with the erratic protagonism of the traveler can trigger changes in other events, altering the future.

Maybe and maybe not.

As in the case of the most famous temporal paradox in cinema, the first film in the "Terminator" franchise, in which Kyle Reese returns to the past, identifies, protects and even impregnates Sarah Connor, before dying and leaving behind nothing more than John Connor, the leader of the human rebels against the machines that, in a dystopian future, dominate the world. Because one explanation for such a significant change in the sequence of events is that Kyle was not a central character in the future story and, therefore, his "sacrifice" did not generate much repercussion later. Another unexplained paradox is that, without the arrival of Kyle and the first exterminator, how would Sarah have understood what was about to happen and prepared her son for the worst? Or, alternatively, she would have had him and led a normal life until the nuclear apocalypse, caused by the "awakening" of the machines, in which he would have survived (she would have died of cancer beforehand), and John would already show leadership qualities without having to go through exterminator persecution. In fact, the existence of Sarah's photo that Kyle was carrying makes no sense at all, since it was taken shortly after Kyle's death, which his son would have kept and given to Kyle in a future "before" his arrival. I don't know, this story is very good, but it seems more like a temporal confusion than a paradox. The only salvation for this would be if they had taken the same photo of her, perhaps in the same place, or similar, but in a completely different context, without knowing what would happen and pregnant by another man, of course...
